The road to Novigrad ends here,
secluded on the coast,
with the mountains in the background.
Because of its remoteness, life here seems a little out of date.
The town was affected by the events of the war in the 1990s.
To get on with life,
repairs were carried out quickly and cheaply.
This left traces that are still visible today,
and Novigrad has become a patchwork of past and present.
